Educational requirements:  Associates degree in related subjects, at least two years experience, preferred.   Supervision Over: None, however may lead, train, or participate in work team assignments.  Directly Responsible To: Office Manager .  Job Duties: Maintains computing environment (20+ workstations) in offices and manufacturing facility, by:

• identifying network requirements
• creating & maintaining inventory of computers & programs used, network connections, outside access, network storage.
• Monitoring and maintaining ongoing backups.
• installing upgrades
• monitoring network performance
• scheduling and performing routine maintenance
• troubleshooting network problems
• monitoring network security; performing virus prevention and removal
• installing software on server and/or desktop computers
• maintaining employee email & user accounts;
• maintaining desktop machines
• providing hardware and software support to all users
• recommend new hardware and/or software as needed, within budget
• updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential 
• working with Vendors and Engineers to install hardware & software required for all new CNC Fabricating Equipment.  Mapping & establishing new network connections as needed.
• Special Project: pgrade and maintain E-2 Shoptech manufacturing software.
